Learning to code is a critical skill for children to learn! Much like learning another language, it's best to have kids learn about programming concepts early and often!
In our Scratch Jr. class, kids will learn coding concepts including computer automation and linear sequencing. They will make short stories, apply elements of animation, and create their own sprites and objects - all using technology and coding fundamentals!

The Minecraft world is in danger, and we need your help!
Join us in this 14 WEEK class where students will learn coding fundamentals and use them to create powerful superheroes with special abilities. Each class creates a new opportunity for our coders to save the Minecraft world against a new danger! From traveling to a ruined city, and exploring a frozen bunker to saving the White House and MORE!
Students will have an amazing time putting their coding skills to the test!
Projects include: Anvil Rain using commands and loops, Programable Robot Bodyguard with selector variables., Gladiator using position variables and fill commands.
Introduction to ArKIDtecture

Get ready to build big ideas! In this exciting new afterschool class, students will explore the basics of engineering and architecture through engaging discussions, hands-on designing, creative drawing, and real building projects. Introduction to ArKIDtecture sparks curiosity and creativity as kids learn how structures stand, how spaces are designed, and how to bring their own architectural visions to life. Perfect for budding builders and imaginative thinkers!
Little Green Thumbs Gardening

Gardening is a great way to get the kids outside.
In this 1.5 hour program, all students will be picked up from dismissal and walked to MAGC for class. Kids will learn the basics of gardening, covering subjects from flowers to vegetables, and how gardens need creatures, such as bugs and birds, to thrive. Students will garden, observe nature, scavenger hunt, create high quality crafts projects, build farm-to-table recipes, and cook!
All materials will be provided for this class.
